IWAMA STYLE AIKIDO ASSOCIATION (General incorporated association)

Iwama style association is an association founded by Teruo.Tsuihiji (Iwama-ryu Aikido 7th dan) in May 2016.
Established with the permission of Hitohira Saito Sensei (Son of Morihiro Saito Sensei / Iwama Shin Shin Aiki Shuren Kai ).
Our association continues to do Aikido in the "Taijutsu, Kenjutsu, Jojutsu" tradition taught by Morihiro Saito Sensei. We endeavour to more deeply understand the teachings of Morihiro Saito Sensei, because we believe that it is our duty as his "Deshi".

・TERUO TSUIHIJI (Soshihan / Founder)
Head (Soshihan / Founder) of Iwama-ryu Aikido Kai (Iwama Style Aikido Association).
From July 1987, He was the Uchi-deshi of Morihiro Saito Sensei for 2 years. Thereafter for 14 years, he was learned Aikido from Morihiro Saito Sensei. Since then, He has been correctly transmitted the "Ken Jo Taijyutu Riai no Icchi" and the basics of Iwama Aikido.

・HIROAKI USUI (Kaicyo)

He was "kaicyo of Aikido"  in  Ota city since 1989.

Now,he is "Kaicyo" of Iwama-ryu Aikido Kai (Iwama Style Aikido Association)

How to Join

・To join our association you must fall into one of the following categories:

 

Be practicing as a leader at the headquarters dojo of IWAMA-RYU AIKIDO KAI, and are alowed  to practice as a teacher of aikido.

 

Be recommended by a dojo or organization that is a member of our association.

 

Receive the approval or recommendation of the general teacher (Soshihan)
